During times of extreme heat, as is the case this week, it is best to use morning shots to identify true temperature breaks.
Evening shots display water that is still "superheated" from an entire day of solar heating and will often blend inshore water with offshore currents (temperature wise) to a point that surface features cannot be easily seen. |
