This evenings posting signals the end of our 2004 season. I would like to take a moment and thank you for choosing Oceantemp as your chart provider. We worked very hard have used the best technology around to manufacture our chart products. We know that they have produced results because of the multitude of e-mails we have received and we hope that our charts have been of use to you in particular. We have no doubt that you have received "a good deal of service" for your hard-earned money. We have also attempted to keep "in touch" with all our members each day via e-mail messages.

We feel we are doing a good job due to the fact that we gain back over 75% of our customers each season. We have also noticed that some customers disappear for a year only to return once again. This clearly tells us that some customers have gone to try out other services and have come back to us.

On a side note... we would like to point out that we have always advertised that we post at least one set per day since we began service on the internet in 2000, however, we have always strived to do better then that.

We are happy to say that we were able to update twice per day this season 99% of the time (not withstanding cloudy/bad weather days). Last years average was about 85% of the time and year 2002 was about 60% of the time.

Also... due to our newly installed redundant systems and data sources introduced this year, we were actually had only one (1) down day so far this season, and it was not even a full day! Our Web hosting company experienced a fire and was out of service from morning till about 9 PM at night. Suffice to say, our record has been nothing less then outstanding this year. (During the 2003 season we experienced some problems that resulted in about 3 full down days and about 5 scheduled postings days within the 6 month period that we were providing service... not too bad but not good enough).

If you enjoyed our service all we ask is that you spread the word. We gain a good amount of business from "word of mouth" referrals each year. If you did not like the service we will always listen to what you have to say in the hope that we can improve our service. Again, thank you, and have a good Winter.

Sincerely,
Fred Spinelli
President
