Dear 2004 Members and New Visitors
After some delay, we were finally able to get the new area samples up onto the website. You may go to the "samples" page and look them over at any time. We feel that their re-configuration is a major improvement. We have also enhanced the geographical accuracy of the charts over the winter. (Unfortunately, we were not able to get a giant overview map done in time for the season opening but we will try and get one in over the course of the season).
The areas are now broken down into (2) groups called North East (NE) and Mid Atlantic (MA). The NE section will have 9 areas (NE1 through NE9), and the MA will have 4 areas, (MA1 through MA9). At this time all members will have access to both groups. Everything else is the same.
A couple of side notes... We are attempting to judge the demand for the new NE area 2 area which is similar to the old "area 2'. Please let us know if you need to use this specific area. If we have no demand for this specific area then we plan to "scrap it' for now.
Also... the selection map shows a box labeled NE7. This area is not available at this time. Other surrounding area charts now cover a good deal of what is displayed on the currently unavailable chart so this chart is basically redundant for all practical purposes. We may, however decide open the NE-7 up while the season is in progress.
Thank You
Fred
