We updated all areas this evening however photos for most areas are almost completely obscured by glare, haze, thin clouds heavy clouds and what appeard to be some type of fog or vapor cover over many parts of the ocean.
In short our photos were cluttered to the point of being nearly completely unusable. Only areas NE 1 though 5 and MA 3 and 4 showed some scant clearing however due to the extremely poor atmospheric conditions temperatures displayed on those charts may not be representative of actual conditions.
Being that this is a weekend, we will make an extra effort and continue to review all satellite passes the next couple of hours and see if anything improves. If we do see some improvement we will get back to work, if not... we will have a late night snack & hit the hay.
