All NE zones updated with a combination of Individual recent satellite data (zone 3) and Multi merged A combination of individual and multiple satellite images were used to complete this update. Description of Multi Sat Images is below.

ALL zones updated - SST- A 12 HOUR multi Satellite Merged data image assembled from at least 8 separate satellites in the 12 hour time period that was used to produce this updated Image. Temperatures displayed are an AVERAGE of those 12 hours before the Image was produced.

Merged images of this type are useful and used mostly because the latest Individual Satellite passes were unsatisfactory due to various reasons but usually heavy cloud cover is the most common reason. Merged time lapse data results in a better presentation of less cloudy data rather then a completely cloudy update or no current update at all satellite data Images for Zones 1 and 2.
